Apple's "App Store" Battles Escalate

Most Companies would take a step back and re-consider their approach if they received a setback like Apple did regarding its "App Store" trademark fight with Amazon.com Inc. Fortunately, most Companies are not like Apple. The Cupertino company is increasing efforts at securing the seemingly generic name "App Store" for itself by sending out cease-and-desist letters to some of the Tech Industry's smaller players. Too bad a big player like Microsoft isn't doing much to support these smaller companies against Apple's scare tactics. Frankly, Apple is acting pretty much like a big bully these days, which makes it harder for folks like me who enjoy good technology to be head over heels over Apple products.
